I am incredibly greatful for the guidance I've found through my membership with the Texas Library Association. As the 2022-2023 Treasurer and Secretary for the New Members Round Table, I've learned a lot about leadership and have made some great personal and professional connections.

The 2022-2023 council has been hard at work developing ways to help new members of TLA. We plan on offering an online forum with library administrators to help new members make connections and get tips on applying to various types of libraries. We are also working on continuing our funding for stipends so that members of the New Members Round Table can receive financial support for attending the annual TLA conference. Finally, we are reevaluating traditional NMRT programming to decide if it aligns with our current objectives.
